You can give out little honey jars as favors and place them on the tables at the reception - that would make a good decoration. Your theme could be ';Meant to Bee...';

You could have your wedding cake be the shape of a bee hive...

You could get some of these to hang from your centerpieces or place on the table...

You could do a yellow and honey candy buffet:

I would try and do some centerpieces that use fresh fruit and maybe a few gerbera daisies:

That's really all I could think of at the moment...Does anyone have any ideas for a wedding reception with a bumble bee theme?

I suggest a move yellow and black theme and *** some bee things in here and there. Or do something like ';sweet as honey';

favor

honey
use black and yellow as your colors

include a very subtle bee logo on your stationery, on the cake and on place cards

for favors, give small jars of honey with a tag that says, ';We're glad you could BEE here!';

use white daisies, or yellow gerbera daisies

bridesmaids could wear yellow dresses, or black (or black %26amp; white) dresses and carry bright yellow flowers

Here are some nice wedding bios and websites to check out, regarding colors, themes and budgeting:

First off, you should totally do a cute cake like this: http://z.about.com/d/entertaining/1/0/h/鈥?/a>

Also adorable

If you really wanted to.. you could have a ring bee-arer and dress him up in a bee costume..

you could make it more subtle with a yellow and black striped sash for flower girls or even for yourself.

There are tons of bee favors out there too...

you can also use honey somehow in the theme... either as a word, in the food, or in the decorations... actually honey favors sounds pretty cool to me.. in cute little jars! You can get all corny with a tag saying ';so happy you could bee here'; etc..
Your possibilities are limitless. I have a few ideas I can throw at you. If you are interested in a few suggestions, decorations, favors, colors, so forth, e-mail me......it's on my profile!
Omg if you do, this would be the perfect favor
