What types of fishes can be put in the same tank as Chilids and bumble bee fish(black and yellow stripes)?

The most important rule of compatibility; do not mix cichlids with anything that is not a cichlid, such as tetras or guppies. They will be eaten.

Cichlids are a slightly more agressive fish.

Also, only mix Cichlids from the same area. (African Cichlids and South American Cichlids can do ok in a large tank... but generally its not a good mix. Speaking from experience here.)

There's also a problem of cross breeding (Which happens a lot with the fish in the pet stores.)

Keeping the species separated to specific areas helps cure that. there are consequences when bad traits of two species are mixed together.

Also, you don't want to mix cichlids that are different sizes. Try to get all the same size or close to. Smaller fish will not fair well.

The main question is how big is your tank?

Size will matter on compatibility as will agression.

Depending on how agressive your fish are, you'll want to find a species that will fit its personality.

you'll also have to find a fish that is compatible with the water pH, salinity and tempurature you have it at.

After that it will be easy to pick tank mates, because you've narrowed down the field.

Best thing to do is go to your nearest Aquatics specialty and speak to someone with Cichlid experience for more information.
