Bumble Bees and the wood patio cover?

Do they make anything can be put on the wood to make the bumble bees not so attracted to it?Bumble Bees and the wood patio cover?
they are more likely 'carpenter bees' looking to drill holes in the bare wood for homes.... in fact , the ones you see are the males, guarding the females who have already bored a hole and are living in there!..... bumbles have striped, fuzzy butts.... carpenter's butts are black and shiny!........ the only fix is to use real paint on the wood.... not stain or sealer, but real paint...

I don't know about the wood, but I do know they're not bumble bees causing you problems. Try searching for wasp repellents.
