i was a bumble bee for halloween last year!


i had my hair in a bun about half way up my head.


i did this by:


1) plait your hair and fasten it with a hair band


2) starting at the top, roll your plait round the back of your head in a neat circle while securing with some grips


3) curl some stands of hair that you left out of the bun


voila!!


did you get your outfit from claires? thats where i got mine from- wings, a head thing with bees coming of it and a wand!

A beehive would be great if you can pull it off. I was thinking pigtails, really high up on the sides of your head. You could braid them so they stick out a little or you could braid/wrap each pony tale around some wire that's secured under the scrunchie so you can manipulate the hair like antenna.
If you have longish hair, twist it into a bun, then tie yellow and black ribbons in it. That's what I did for halloween, when I was a bumblebee! lol. Or, I'm sure Claire's or some other store probably has a bumblebee barrette or something yellow and black.

Beehive of course! (As long as your hair is long enough! Comb a chunk forward, back comb the central part of your hair and add plenty of hairspray, then comb the front section over it so it looks neat, pin it and add plenty more hairspray to fix.

Because you are dressing up as a bumble bee, its quite bold so you should keep your hair simple. I suggest tying it up in a neat bun at the back.
