How do you make nylon butterflies and bumble bees?

I am wanting to find out how to make those butterflies and bumble bee and dragon flies out of pantyhose and wire. I did them in elementary school and want to do these with my kids as a fun spring project, but can't remember how to make them. I barely remember how to do the wings but can't remember how to make the body. Any help or instruction would be greatly appreciated.How do you make nylon butterflies and bumble bees?

Like you, I don't remember how to make the bodies. I can offer an alternative. Go to http://www.orientaltrading.com and enter 57/9091 in the search. What comes up is 12 butterflies for $5.95 pr. dz. They aren't large, but your children could still paint and decorate them. If you go to http://www.daniellesplace.com/index.html and click on ';insect crafts for kids'; it will show you how to decorate them. P.S, This is just a great site ( it does have some religious crafts though )
