What's the difference between male and female bumble bee cichlids?

I just added 2 bumble cichlids to my tank, the petshop man said there that i had a boy and a girl, but i can't see any diiference. Did the man get it wrong? Have i got 2 of the same sexes? How can you tell apart the males and females?

Thanks! What's the difference between male and female bumble bee cichlids?
It does sound like they are wrong, unless the person vented them. That's something practically impossible to do over the internet unless you take super close up photo's.

Basically, down the road, a few months, a few weeks, hard to say, if you have a male, it will morph out of the brown and yellow look and become a deeper brownish/black look. Females stay the same look. They are dimorphic.

Use the pull down tab to get looks of what males and females look like. It's Pseudotropheus Crabro too, I'd drop using the common names because common names can easily make people get confused and give you information on the wrong species.
