Why do my bumble bees sleep on flowers at night and stay all day not leaving?

The flowers are Marigold's, the bees just hop from flower to flower like they are eating themselves drunk. Why do my bumble bees sleep on flowers at night and stay all day not leaving?
They're likely cold. Bumblebees are ectotherms, so they need heat from their environment to warm up their muscles so they can fly. When fall aproaches, they sometimes just get too cold to fly. Somtimes in the mornings I can just pick them off of flowers and hold them.
