Is Hot Shot and Bumble Bee the same character in transformers?

I am trying to find out if they are the same person, different person, or related.Is Hot Shot and Bumble Bee the same character in transformers?

No they are not. Bumblebee was one of the original transformers. His original morph was a beetle. They made a homage to it in the movie when bumblebee parked next to the yellow beetle in the car lot. Hotshot was made up later in one of the animated spin-offs. They are not related and have never even met in any of the shows and spin-offs.

hot shot is very much like the orginal bumble bee.

but hotshot is a little to cocky and tries to do everything his way and most of the time it doesnt pay off.
